I'll be the first to admit that this may seem like a strange topic of conversation.
But I need to tell you about a product which has truly changed my life - the humble pot-scraper.

So, what the heck is a pot scraper?
A pot scraper is a thin piece of bamboo with a bevelled edge.
This little tool can remove any cooking matter that has baked or dried onto your pots, pans, dishes, containers, oven, or countertops.
Every Sunday my partner makes his specialty pasta sauce.
This involves tomatoes bubbling for hours, a Gordon Ramsey inspired self-narration, and the smell of garlic wafting down the street.
The end result is a delicious tasting pasta, but a very dirty pot. With a concoction of caramelized tomato, onion and parmesan encrusted to the bottom of the pot.
This is what used to happen....
I would boil the kettle, pour the hot water in with some soap and let it sit overnight.
The next morning, I'd pour out the swampy water and begin the vigorous scrubbing.
After a lot of time and elbow grease, the pot would finally be clean.
But there were casualties...
