Lead With Love: A list of resources to keep your mind active during COVID-19

First of all, I want to send my love to you and your family right now.

This virus is affecting all of us differently.

And it's important to understand the severity of the situation for many people around the world.

For most of us right now, we fear the unknown and feel helpless for our fellow people. And as the situation worsens each day, it's natural for our anxieties to increase.

But all of us in this community are tough cookies. We are all great at finding perspective.

This is self evident due to the fact that you're here, on this blog, part of this community, supporting an environmental mission, when you certainly didn't have to.

Today I'm not talking about the environment but trying to make a point that your ability to find higher perspective is evident in the fact that you're reading this.

It seems like all of your loved ones will benefit from an emotionally strong leader during this time. It will be easy for people to get swept away in negativity from news reports and other unfortunate events.

Isolation and social distancing will both increase for the foreseeable future. For this reason it's important to look after your mental well being and morale.

Finding some space for calm, respite, brain activity, entertainment, fun, and socializing will be critical to helping you and your loved ones get through this.

Here are a list of resources that will help you stay engaged:

Well, you already had me with your products, etc. but this just sold me on you all 100%. Thank you so very much for spreading love and self care right now. I appreciate that you left your products out of your statements & suggestions for mental health, completely. Even if this was a total marketing tactic, I don’t care. You came across genuine and with lovingkindness and I just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate that.
Thank you and be well <3

I am so excited I found you guys. I was in Africa for six weeks last fall working on a conservation program. We have found involving children with a love and respect for animals and nature is the key to conservation. When I came back, I wanted to continue “the mission.” Fortunately, I live in a very GREEN area/state/city (Seattle – Pacific Northwest). But, it was my 13-year-old niece who gave me ideas of how I can live a more environment-friendly life and encourage others. We had a conservation/photograph party and over 85 people came. I gave out your toothbrushes and some people took two and three. I’m just excited about all of the opportunities in the future. The more i see your posts, messages and encouraging words, the more I see a positive light in the current “fog.”

What a wonderful resource and even more importantly the positive pep talk that will remind us all to focus on what we can control and give thanks for what we still have, and stay calm and spread love. THANK YOU!
